Natural therapies are growing in popularity. Treatments offered by osteopaths, chiropractors, massage therapists, naturopaths, acupuncturists, homeopaths and other therapists have many health benefits. These non medicinal therapies are even being recognized by doctors and insurance companies as a legitimate therapeutic treatment.
People are becoming more aware of their healthcare benefits and what it entails. You will often hear “well is this service covered?” If it is not covered, or a portion is not covered, the client won’t want it. I find this frustrating and want to tell my clients that their treatment plan is not based on their insurance coverage but it is based on their need. This is a common misconception. Continue reading
